ICCV is the premier international Computer Vision event comprising the main ICCV conference and several co-located workshops and short courses. With its high quality and low cost, it provides an exceptional value for students, academics and industry researchers.

In 2013, ICCV will take place at the Sydney Conference Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney.

  • Jan. 22nd - Conference videos are now available!
  • Dec. 3rd - Marr prize and best reviewer awards announced! See the awards page.
  • Dec. 2nd - Webcast begins: All oral presentations in the main conference (not workshops) will be streamed live for online viewing, and tutorials will be available with a day's delay. This will be free to all those registering for the conference. Separate registration for people not attending the conference is available here.
  • Nov. 14th - Instructions for preparations of presentations can be found here.
  • Nov. 10th - Instructions for preparations of posters can be found here.
  • Oct. 30th - Two additional conferences:
    • The ACM Int. Conf. on Multimodal Interaction will also be held in Sydney in the week following ICCV (Dec. 9-13th). This will include satellite events such as the ChaLearn Challenge and Workshop on Multi-modal Gesture Recognition, Emotion Recognition In The Wild Challenge and Workshop and The 6th Workshop on Eye Gaze in Intelligent Human Machine Interaction: Gaze in Multimodal Interaction, and a keynote from James Rehg.
    • The Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS) holds an annual conference, DICTA, which will be held immediately before ICCV in Hobart, Austraila (Tasmania).
  • Oct. 25th - ICCV 2013 Program: The program for ICCV 2013, including workshops and demos can be found here.
  • Oct. 16th - We are delighted to announce that Brian Schmidt, Nobel Prize winner for Physics 2011, will be giving a keynote address at ICCV. His talk is scheduled for 1:45pm on Friday December 6. Brian's field of research is Astronomy, and he is known particularly for his discovery of the Accelerating Universe.
  • Sept. 26th - Please apply for your Australian VISA as soon as possible. Details (including what countries need a VISA) can be found here. The letter of confirmation sent with each registration should be used for visa purposes (no separate letter of invitation should be required).
  • Aug. 19th - Registration and Accommodation details are now available. Visitors will require an an Australian VISA, which should be applied for at least two months prior to the intended date of departure (i.e. by the end of September).
